Laramie

My story

Laramie is the sweetest little red heeler mix. She is around 6m (as of 5/25/25). She is utd on vaccines, microchipped, spayed and on heartworm prevention. she currently weights around 30lbs and we expect her to be in the 35 to 45lb range as an adult. Laramie is absolutely blossoming in her foster home and grows more confident each day. In less than a week is kennel trained and has been sleeping through the night. She is house trained and will even go out in a light rain to potty, she does prefer you go out with her at night. She is catching on to the command "go potty" very well. Laramie walks nicely on a leash and has great recall in a yard or when you call her to another room. She gets along well with the dogs big and small in her foster home and has done very well at the dog park in a controlled setting (dogs known to the foster mom but not Laramie) She has been enjoying day care, where she has her own kennel run but can interact with dogs in the next run. Laramie is very smart and we believe she can learn anything with love and positive training techniques. She is nervous around new people, but once she bonds to her person she is very attentive and loves getting pets and seeks out attention. She enjoys exploring the back yard, chasing squirrels with her dog friends, hunting for sticks or letting foster mom know if a stranger is walking by. She would do well with an active family who would take her them with her on their adventures. If you think Laramie might be a great fit for your home, please submit your application.
