Name: Mickey Age: Senior (10+ years old) Breed: Mixed breed Gender: neutered male Current Weight: 41 lbs Estimated weight when grown: full grown House broke: Unknown Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Unknown Good with Children: Yes Heartworm Test: Negative Adoption Fee: $50.00 (Golden Oldie discount- 50%) Misc. Information: Mickey was brought to the shelter as a stray so little is known about this old guy at this time. He has been a wonderful gentleman while here at the shelter. He does seem to have some arthritis in the hips and would benefit from some joint supplements. All of his K9 teeth are worn down from unknown reasons but do not seem to affect him at this time. Mickey does seem to know sit, shake and lay down and is extremely food motivated. He more than likely is house broke as he has been clean in his kennel. In his kennel is super chill and calm, outside his kennel he gets more spunky and is more outgoing. He loves to cuddle and roll over on his back for loves. He is VERY VERY into food and will need to be watched with young children as he will stop at nothing to get to the food. He will also do best in a home with older children who are not allowed to climb on him as he does NOT like it, most dogs don't. He is fun and full of personality. This sweet old boy would love to find a forever home to rest his remaining days in. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Animals can be returned to the shelter for any reason, however, there are NO refunds or exchanges.
