My story

Meet Paige, a three-year-old spayed female Jindo mix with a soft beige coat and a heart full of love! Rescued from a dog meat farm in Wanju, Paige has come a long way and is now ready to find her forever home. At first, she can be a little shy around new people, but with a tasty treat in hand, you’ll quickly earn her trust. It took her about ten days at the shelter to feel comfortable enough to follow people around, and once she decides you’re a friend, she’s all in! She’ll happily come when called, ask for pets, and even snuggle up for some affection. She tends to bond more easily with women but, given time, will warm up to men as well. Once she’s comfortable, she’s even okay with being picked up in a full-body hug! Paige is a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. She loves making new friends and isn’t picky—whether they’re big, small, high-energy, or a bit clueless, she’s always happy to play. If another dog gets a little too pushy, she usually chooses to walk away, though she’s not afraid to give a polite warning when necessary. That said, she’s never been in a fight. She’s also fantastic with cats, having lived with them before with no issues. With a moderate energy level, Paige enjoys her outdoor adventures but knows how to relax afterward. She’ll happily entertain herself with toys at home and isn’t one to get overly restless. On walks, she can be a bit eager and pull on the leash, but she listens well to her handler. Busy streets can make her a little nervous, but she looks to her person for reassurance and keeps going. One of Paige’s best qualities is her easygoing nature—she’s not protective over food, rarely barks, and is fully house-trained for outdoor potty breaks.
