Roland

My story

Roland is the sweetest guy around! He is such a great dog who loves attention and belly rubs. He walks pretty well on a leash, even for the foster's teenage daughter. He is crated all night with no issues. He can get nervous about being in his crate during the day and it takes him a minute to calm himself down, but he does settle down. - Whether in his kennel or left in the house on his own, he has never had an accident or made a mess in the house. He always goes outside! - He is cat tolerant, but not cat friendly yet. He tends to lunge and bark at them if they move, but totally ignores them if they stay still. Not aggressive just doesn't want them in his space. Immediately stops when he is told. -We are not sure how he is with other dogs yet. - He is food dominant and needs to be fed in his own space. He is so gentle when he takes his meds or is given a treat. He is neutered, vaccinated and ready to recuperate in a foster or furever home! He is currently on antibiotics twice daily and will go back to the vet soon to see next steps for the left side of his jaw that was broken due to the gun shot wound. He is on a soft food diet until at least his vet appt.
