My story

Gidget is a 15-year-old doxie mix, who is the epitome of sweetness wrapped in a bundle of floppy-eared joy. Her ears may initially catch your attention, but her sweet, derpy nature will truly win your heart. While she might need a little extra time to decompress and warm up to new faces, once she does, you’ll find she’s a sweet, snuggly companion who gets along with dogs, cats, and even kiddos! She is the perfect mix of spunk and relaxation, and with a bit of patience she will blossom into the ultimate sidekick who won’t leave your side. If you are looking for a dog who will flop into your heart (and probably your lap too), Gidget is sure to be your girl! Here's some notes from her foster: Gidget is super sweet and gentle. Loving & trusting from Day 1! She follows me everywhere from room to room in the house & has great eye contact lol always staring directly at me! She is 100% potty-trained. No accidents :) Gidget is an extremely well-behaved lady. Very easy to walk - gets pretty excited about other dogs on the sidewalk but doesn't ever bark at them or excessively pull towards them! I've left her alone at home for 5-6 hours when I have to go into the office. She does just fine and based on my camera, she spends the whole time sleeping in her bed.
