My story

Meet Kolby Brock! This lovable 2 ½-year-old Terrier mix weighs in at 48 pounds of pure joy and goofy charm. Kolby came to us from another shelter, and we’re so glad he did—because now he’s ready to find his perfect forever home! Kolby is great with other dogs and tends to be more on the submissive side with his canine friends. He’s also good with kids, though due to his size and enthusiastic jumping, he’d do best in a home with children 12 and older. This sweet boy is house-trained and incredibly smart—he’s already mastered “sit” and loves playing fetch. Balls and toys are his absolute favorite, especially the tough ones—because Kolby is a bit of a shredder! So, skip the stuffed toys and beds, and give him something sturdy to sink his teeth into. Kolby is heartworm positive but has already received his ProHeart-12 injection and is undergoing treatment. He’ll need a recheck in six months, but he’s on the right track. He’s super food-motivated, eager to learn, and happiest when he’s outside playing with his people. Kolby would thrive in a home with a big backyard where he can run, play, and burn off his energy. He’s working on his leash skills—right now, he tends to pull—but with a little guidance, he’ll be a great walking buddy. Kolby Brock is sweet as can be, playful, affectionate, and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
