My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Dog M:4This one-year-old, 68-pound pittie mix is as hearty and happy as his name suggests! Breakfast is a muscular little tank with a big smile, a zest for life, and a nose that must sniff every corner of the world. He’s got moderate energy and loves a good zoomie session, followed by some well-earned pets and snuggles. Breakfast is equal parts independent explorer and affectionate goof—he’ll trot around the yard doing his own thing, then hop right into your lap when he’s ready for treats. He LOVES treats and is already learning cues like “sit” and “touch.” He’ll thrive with someone who’s excited to continue his training, especially loose-leash walking—because right now, he’s more of a “let me show you the world!” kind of walker. Around other dogs, he’s calm and non-reactive, more into sniffing than playing, and would do well as a solo pup or with a chill, compatible dog friend.
