My story

Amber is a resilient and affectionate 3.5-year-old, 60-pound mixed-breed dog who has overcome a challenging start to life.   Surrendered to a city shelter while pregnant, she was fortunate to find a loving foster home where she safely delivered and cared for her puppies.   Now that her puppies are nearly weaned, Amber is ready to find a forever home of her own. &#226&#128&#139 Personality & Behavior: Amber is a devoted companion who forms strong bonds with her caregivers. She enjoys following her people around and resting at their feet, showcasing her affectionate nature. Potty-trained and appreciative of a consistent routine, Amber thrives in a structured environment. While she has not been tested with cats or children, her gentle demeanor suggests she may do well with both, pending proper introductions. &#226&#128&#139 Ideal Home: Amber would flourish in a home where she can be close to her humans and maintain a regular schedule. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
