Born on February 10, 2025, Mutton Chops is a male Carolina Shepherd mix who is the total puppy package — adorable, cuddly, curious, and oh-so-lovable. He’s great with dogs big and small, and while he hasn’t met any cats yet, he’s the kind of easygoing pup who would likely do well with proper introductions and training. Mutton Chop is also wonderful with kids of all ages and loves both women and men alike. He’s currently working hard on crate training and basic commands, and while he’s not yet leash trained (he’s waiting to be fully vaccinated), he’s eager to learn with a little patience and guidance. He isn’t doggy door trained yet and would not be a great fit for apartment living — this boy needs a fenced yard where he can run, play, and burn off his puppy energy. Mutton Chop absolutely adores treats, toys, snuggles, and spending time with his people, but he’s also perfectly content sneaking away for a peaceful solo nap after a good play session. He’s still learning some puppy manners, like not jumping, so he needs a family committed to continuing his training and keeping him mentally and physically stimulated with toys, activities, and doggy playmates. Mutton Chop is the perfect blend of playful and cuddly, and he’s ready to find an active, loving home that will cherish him for the sweet, spunky boy he is.
