My story

Meet Hazel — a curious little explorer with the softest heart ! Hazel is a lovely Pittie girl who takes her outdoor adventures very seriously — after all, there are so many things that need smelling, and she’s determined to sniff them all. She is easy to leash up and happy to trot right outside, content to take in the world at her own gentle pace.Hazel’s adorable ears deserve a fan club of their own — they seem to have their own personality and make her even more charming (if that’s possible). She is sweet and polite when offered treats, though she is far more interested in following her nose than snacking. What seems to matter most to Hazel is simply enjoying the outdoors and being with her people.Above all, Hazel is an absolute love — the kind of dog who makes the world feel a little softer just by being in it. She’s ready to sniff her way right into your heart. Come meet her and see for yourself !Hazel recently met some social dogs at our shelter.  She didn`t seem to want to make friends and just kept to herself.  Check out her playgroup video here:Her previous owner stated that Hazel is OK with cats and children but not small dogs.To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
