My story

Hi, I’m Nala!I’m an 8½-year-old lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Age is just a number and don’t let my age fool you—I’ve still got plenty of spunk and tail wags. And, because I’m a mature lady, I’m housebroken, don’t get into things that I shouldn’t and love to Netflix and Chill, and share your popcorn!I’m super friendly with people and an enthusiastic player with other dogs—I love making new friends. I’ll chase toys like a champ (returning them is negotiable ??), and I never turn down a good game of tug.When I lay down, I do this adorable thing my fosters call “sea lion arms”—my front legs sprawl out like I’m ready to belly-flop into the ocean or crawl away on the sand. I also love a good sploot, especially when I’m relaxing on a cool floor after a walk or after I come in from a good roll in the grass (which is seriously underrated, by the way).Inside I’m calm and easygoing, happy to snooze while you go about your day (sorry if I snore too loudly!) But if you’re up for a walk, I’m instantly ready to join you whether for a neighborhood stroll or a Sunday drive. I’m a great rider in the car!I know sit, down, and paw. Add in snacks, snuggles, and a soft spot to rest, and I’m one happy girl.Think we might be a match? I’m ready to meet you—and maybe show off my best sea lion pose!Love,Nala
