My story

Hi! My name is Puddles and I’m currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 6 month old Male Medium sized Mixed Breed who is eager for a new home! I was first transferred from an over crowded shelter where I was found dumped with my other littermates. I was adopted into a home but brought back once they realized they couldn't meet my needs. I've lived with cats and dogs and have made some doggy friends during my time here. I love the outdoors, enjoy belly rubs, and am always down for a snack break. Since my previous family didn't quite work on my socialization, I can be shy and unsure at times. I'm a big puppy transitioning into adulthood and I'm still finding my big boy voice! I've made a lot of progress in my time here and would love to continue that progress in a home- a shy dog training class is even included with my adoption. I will benefit from crate training & an active household to meet my energy needs as I get older. My future bestie will help me navigate day to day life and work on my confidence as I grow! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays. Adoptions are on a first-come first served basis. My adopters will receive a certificate for a free veterinary exam and our partners at Purina will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
