Polkadot is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Meet Polkadot. She’s not just another pretty face, though that face sure is pretty. She’s a world traveler, a hostess with the mostess, and a sun worshipper all wrapped in one. Polkadot’s story begins where all good stories begin: Kuwait. Despite being the total package, Polkadot was dumped, literally. She found herself in an infamous dumping ground where management had set about poisoning all the cats they were inundated with. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Polkadot had a life threatening infection in her uterus. To say the cards were stacked against her is an understatement, but Polkadot for once had luck on her side when a rescuer saw her and stepped in. Her medical needs were tended to, she was seen and valued, and soon enough she was shipped off on a transatlantic flight headed for the DMV and her happily ever after. And this right there is where Polkadot hopes you come in. This long haired looker exudes confidence. She’s highly adaptable and all your guests will know her. Girlfriend has the teeniest tiniest play itch that she’ll willingly scratch on occasion with a similarly minded feline friend or with the assist of a wand toy, but she is by no means a highly playful cat. Rather, Polkadot’s regal and she’s into her health so give the girl a sunbeam and she’ll happily soak up all the Vitamin D she can get for hours on end while letting the light glisten off her and giving you some major hair envy. Polkadot is currently living with small children, another cat, and dogs, and she’s excelling with all. She occasionally sleeps with the little boy in her foster home, happily showing him her belly (it’s not a trap!) for some bedtime scritches before the light goes out for the night. As a cat who had to live on the streets with whatever came her way, it’s no surprise that Polkadot readily accepted the other animals in her foster home, realizing they were all in it together. Although she very occasionally tries to engage with them, she’s largely an independent lady, much more oriented to people than other animals. And have we told you about her purr motor? It immediately starts the moment you hold her and it rivals some small boats. It’s impressive. Heck, Polkadot’s impressive. Does Polkadot sound like the cat for you? She sure hopes so! Apply today and snatch this girl up before someone else does. **see more Polkadot cuteness on IG @fosteredwithkids ATTRIBUTES: Polkadot has done well with other dogs, cats, and children. —------------- Laila’s Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any cat is housebroken.
