BRUNO (SENNA)*

My story

Bruno is a bob- tailed beefcake who lived in his former home for two years after originally being found as a stray. His former family told us that he was good with young kids, house and crate trained, liked car rides, was affectionate and playful, and was a big baby. During a short foster stay, Bruno was described as a great dog who is energetic, friendly, and just a big old goofy puppy. Bruno’s has tons of volunteer fans at the shelter too:“Bruno is tall, dark and handsome - okay, so he’s more of like a burnt orange, but handsome all the same. And he’s just a big ol’ softy who wants to be on your lap getting all the snuggles if you’re sitting down. He’s got a stubby nubbin of a tail which would no doubt be waving in the wind if it were longer. He`s a strong pup but follows a treat trail like a Pac-Man champ. He is the sweetest and I enjoy taking him out and receiving his big-boy pressure therapy.”“Bruno is an absolutely lovely dog. He was easy to leash up and he mostly walked with a loose leash, frequently right by me and only pulled a bit occasionally when he wanted to sniff something. He looked at other dogs we passed, but did not react. He was very interested in the people we saw as we walked. When I sat on a bench in the park, he draped his big body across my lap and snuggled into me. He also enjoys giving kisses.”“I met Bruno for the first time this morning and we had a great walk together. He walked on a loose leash the entire time. We saw a few dogs at a distance and he just watched them calmly as we walked along. It took a few tries (I am not sure he had been taught to sit on command), but eventually I got him to sit. Then he took treats gently from my hand.”Bruno would like to meet any potential future furry roommates before heading home to ensure a good fit, and he`s looking for a furever home with no small dogs, please.
