My story

Meet Lucky, a 10-year-old sweetheart with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. While she’s always ready for some affection, Lucky also enjoys her quiet moments and has a special spot where she can retreat and relax.She may take a little time to warm up, but once she does, she’ll show you just how sweet and loving she can be. Lucky is the perfect balance of cuddly and independent, making her a wonderful companion for someone who understands and respects her need for alone time.If you’re looking for a calm and loving cat who knows when to snuggle and when to retreat to her hidey hole, Lucky just might be your perfect match.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
