My story

BowBow’s story starts with uncertainty, but we’re determined to help it end with love. This sweet 1-year-old terrier mix was found wandering along Highway 49 in Gulfport on March 26th, scared and unsure of everything around him. He wore a red collar—proof that he once belonged to someone—but had no tags, no microchip, and sadly, no one ever came to claim him. His past may be a mystery, but his future still shines bright. When BowBow first arrived at the shelter, he was timid and hesitant, unsure if he could trust people again. But day by day, he’s blossomed. Now, when he sees us coming, his tail starts wagging, and he even leans in for kisses. He’s showing us that beneath his shy exterior is a heart overflowing with love and potential—he just needs someone willing to give him the chance to shine. BowBow is still a bit reserved, but he’s made tremendous progress. He wants to believe in people again, and with the right family, he’ll continue to grow into the amazing companion we know he can be. He’s gentle, sweet, and just looking for someone who sees him for who he truly is—a loyal pup with so much love to give.? Heartworm Negative? Up-to-date on Vaccines?
