My story

Approximate Date of Birth: 8/21/2022 Description:   Bean is a gentle, affectionate 3-year-old kitty with a heart full of love to give. Though she may be a little shy at first, she truly wants to be found, reassured, and showered with affection. Once she feels safe, she’ll greet you with soft purrs, leg rubs, and her signature almost-silent meow—like a little whisper just for you! This charming girl enjoys companionship and loves to be near her people. While she tolerates being held, she prefers to keep her paws on solid ground. However, she’s easy to pick up and even allows nail trims—if you're quick! When she’s in the mood for play, Bean delights in chasing her wand toy and laser dot, showing off her fun and silly side. Bean has a history of being bullied by another cat, and because she’s easily stressed, she’s looking for a quiet home where she can be the only feline queen. She thrives in a peaceful environment where she can bond closely with her humans, chat with her delicate meows, and curl up beside you for gentle pets. Good with Dogs: Does not care for dogs.  Good with Children: Can live in a house where children occasionally visit, as long as the children are pet-friendly.   Companion Animal: Not necessary.   Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match.
