My story

Meet Thumper — a smart, affectionate young pup ready to thrive! Originally thought to be a Border Collie/Lab mix, he’s now believed to be a Lab or Border Collie/Hound cross. Around a year old, Thumper came into rescue with his possible littermate, Bambi. This sweet boy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and great with other dogs. He’s social, eager to please, and a quick learner. Thumper would do best in an active home with space to run and explore. He showed a bit too much curiosity around lambs and chickens—likely a first encounter—but is otherwise very manageable. Thumper has the potential to be a wonderful family companion, hiking buddy, or even a future working dog with the right guidance.
