Introducing Nymeria! She was brought to the shelter on 3/27 because she was on a journey to find her way home. Sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Nymeria is only 3 years old and weighs a mere 85lbs. She is beautiful inside and out. Her photo shoot depicts her as a very photogenic young lady. She is a gorgeous gal! Wouldn't you agree? The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute but terrified. She has been placed in scary environment and that is understandable for her to be scared. The volunteers are helping her build her confidence better so she can blossom more. We know its in there. She just needs some guidance and patience. She's got this! She is so quiet in her kennel you would never know she was there. She is a smart cookie as she knows sit when asked and she may know more. Just give her the time to decompress and she will show all of her talents! Please take some time and visit with her in Run 50; her ID is 8983. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Nymeria is current on vaccines, spayed and tested negative for heartworms; she will be microchipped upon adoption. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Nymeria is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
