My story

*** Franny is at our Petco Mira Mesa adoption center. ***Franny #19511: solid gray, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 3/1/24Cats: best as solo kittyDogs: unknownChildren: adult homeBACKGROUND: Franny walked up one day to the feeder and caretaker at a colony of homeless cats. It was clear that she had recently been spayed with her belly shaved and her ear tipped, but she was very people-friendly and the caretaker knew Franny deserved a loving home life. She took her in and then reached out to The Rescue House.PERSONALITY: Franny is so loving and friendly! She adores people and will follow you from room to room so she can always have your company. She’ll settle in for a snooze next to you or perch high on a cat tree. Franny’s favorite place to be scratched is under her chin for sure, though she likes pretty much anything and will roll over with happiness. Every now and then she can get overstimulated and she may give an unexpected nip at that time, so cat-knowledgeable adopters who are not put off by that and know how to keep things at an even keel are best. Franny is very playful and enjoys play sessions with you: she’ll chase and jump after assorted toys and balls, crinkly and jingly, electronic or cat-powered. She’s a youthful kitty with a sweet spirit.COMPATIBILITY: Franny loves being your one and only kitty princess. She was overwhelmed by a crowd of cats in her first foster home and definitely doesn’t want that, though it’s possible she may be able to tolerate just one other cat who doesn’t compete too much for the human’s affection. We don’t know her thoughts on dogs. We think she would do best in an adult home without children.Franny is such fun! Will this gorgeous gray girl be your beloved shadow?
