My story

Meet Jackson – or Jax, as his friends call him! This handsome 8-year-old German Shepherd is ready to settle into his golden years with a loving, shepherd-savvy family who can give him the retirement he deserves. Jax is a sweet and loyal guy who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he knows you're a friend, he's all in. He especially loves a relaxed game of fetch – it's his favorite way to bond and unwind! He's had some off-leash training in the past and could get back into the groove with a bit of a refresher. On leash, Jax does need a bit of extra help when passing other dogs – he prefers to be the only dog in the home and would love to be your one and only. He’ll thrive in a calm, structured environment where he can feel safe and understood. Jax has lived with cats before and did well, though he might try to turn them into a game of chase now and then. A confident, dog-savvy cat who knows the drill could be a good match. If you're an experienced shepherd home looking for a gentle soul to share long walks, quiet evenings, and a loyal friendship, Jax just might be your guy.
