My story

Hi, I'm Willow and I know I had a home before, I just can't tell you how I lost it.  A Good Samaritan found me outside and brought me to HAWS to help me find a forever home.  With each passing day, the staff and volunteers make me more comfortable with the shelter environment but I really want a home of my own again.  Could it be yours?  I am a sweet and gentle cat and I think I'll do best in a quiet home.  I like rubs on my head as I get to know you ... but take a few minutes to talk softly with me before you say HI.  I absolutely love lickable wet treats (not so much the hard crunchy treats) because I have fewer teeth to chew.  Because I have a fewer teeth just means I'll need a little extra canned food to keep me happy and healthy in the years ahead.  While I won't rush to my front door to meet you now, I think once I'm home with you and comfortable, I'll probably welcome you home after a day at work!  I'll be the perfect companion for someone special, so please take the effort to meet me.  I assure you I'm worth it!
