My story

Hi, I’m Garter. I’m a sweet, gentle soul who’s still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. New people, loud noises, and unfamiliar places can be a bit overwhelming for me, so I’ll need time—and a lot of patience—to settle into a new home. But if you go slow and let me adjust at my own pace, I promise I’ll be worth the wait. I do best with a calm, friendly dog buddy who can show me the ropes and help me feel more confident. I’m looking for a quiet, understanding home with someone who’ll love me just as I am and help me blossom into the brave little pup I’m meant to be.
