My story

Hello, my name is Sambo! I am an adult boy kitty with sleek black fur! I am not really happy right now...I'm actually pretty sad and scared. I had a home, but my owner could no longer take care of me and they brought me here. I really miss being in my home with all my familiar stuff, so please give me some grace if you come to visit. I am a sweet boy, and I do like to play when I'm not scared. My owner said I am great at cuddling, too. I also like treats, so it never hurts to introduce yourself with some of those. I hope I find my real furever home soon!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    April 4, 2025, 8:20 pm
