My story

Say hello to Aunt Fanny! This lovely girl was left behind at a local shelter by her previous owner, but when the shelter reached out to us for help, we didn’t hesitate to bring her into our care. Estimated to be around 6 years old, Aunt Fanny carries herself with the grace and gentleness of a dog a bit older, and we believe she may be closer to senior age. She arrived with a few medical concerns, including a couple of mammary masses, but she’s already feeling so much better with the care she’s receiving—and we’re committed to getting her completely on the mend. What she needs next is a loving home where she can finally relax and be cherished like she deserves.Aunt Fanny is the definition of a sweetheart. She has a warm, nurturing nature and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. There’s something truly special about her calm, motherly presence—she brings a sense of peace to every room she’s in. She's also incredibly loving with people, and her soft eyes and gentle demeanor make her instantly endearing. Her past may have been rough, but she doesn’t let that define her. She’s ready to move forward with hope in her heart and her tail wagging.It’s clear that Aunt Fanny hasn’t always received the best care, but she’s resilient, forgiving, and more than ready for a fresh start.
