My story

This adorable pup is Rocky! He was adopted from the shelter back in November and returned on 4/4 because of new breed restrictions where he lived. His former owner noted that Rocky is house-trained, good with children, and good with other dogs. The volunteers adore Rocky and describe him as an all around good doggo! He is everything a young dog should be: curious, friendly, and playful. Rocky knows how to sit nicely and take treats gently. If you're looking for a dog who will adjust and settle in to a new, loving home easily please come meet Rocky! Rocky is approximately 1 year old and on the smaller side weighing 35 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Rocky is waiting patiently in run 881; his ID # is 6032. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
