My story

Kane | 6.5 Years | 65lbs Howdy! My name is Kane, and I arrived at K9s For Warriors from Hilton Head Humane, after passing my initial test with flying colors! Due to being a bit older than my other service dog pals, I decided to retire from the working life and search for my furever home that is filled with lots of snuggles and playtime. I am a fun-loving and independent pup and am a big fan of tug-of-war, fetch, and just about any toy I can get my paws on. While I'm a bit of a "do my own thing" kind of dog, I form strong bonds with those I trust and am a loyal companion at heart, always down to be a part of the action. One of my favorite things to do is go on adventures with my people—especially when we’re exploring dog-friendly spots!
