You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello! Meet Chappie! (11-12 mos ~ 29lb) Chappie is a young Bassett/Spaniel (we think?). Chappie was brought into rescue mid March from southern MN. Chappie is currently pretending to play office by going to work with his foster mom so he can meet new people, get belly rubs, and get familiar with a bunch of different surroundings! "Working" dog, anyone? ;-) Chappie spends his days romping around the yard with our other foster dogs, Divine, Bristol Bay, Cheeto, and Rusty! He really brings life to the pack because he can run underneath everyone, so he's a great friend for Tag! Chappie is impossible to get photos of, because he ALWAYS wants to be in your lap! When he understands that you are the best thing to ever happen to him, you will surely have a friend for life. Chappie is the epitome of a short king. He's got short legs, a long torso, suuuuuuper soft fur, and the cutest little face that will make you give all of your deli meat to him. Chappie loves to run after toys - he hasn't figured out fetch yet, but he's showing interest in chasing them. We think Chappie would thrive in a yard to romp around in, and maybe another dog friend to hang out with and play! We aren't sure about kids yet, but slow introductions with considerate kids is a great way to start. Interested in adopting?
