My story

  Meet Zander ! This adorable guy is a friendly, easygoing pup. He walks well on leash and responds well to his handlers. He looks like a puppy - but is actually a young adult, and his manners reflect his maturity ! See notes from his recent outing...   `Today we got to spend time with Zander, a ~3 yr old American Pitbull Terrier, through the Barks & Recreation program, and he had such an amazing day! He played with some toys, got a nice bath, picked out some treats, enjoyed a pup cup, chewed happily on his beef cheek, and even tried to swim - though he mostly preferred just lounging on the raft in the pool. After all that fun, he snuggled up for some sweet cuddle time. He truly had the best day. Throughout it all, he kept us laughing - from the way he proudly carried his beef cheek around to how he zoomed after his toys. Zander knows sit and shake and walks well on a leash. He’s the sweetest boy who just wants someone to love him. He thinks he is a lap dog and loves all the cuddles he can get. Plus, his face is simply irresistible. Zander is available for adoption or foster at Bradshaw Animal Shelter. He was such a joy to have around, and whoever ends up with him will be incredibly lucky. So if you are looking for a loyal, goofy, loving companion, Zander is your guy !` We agree !
