My story

This stunning GSD mix is Darcy! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 3/31, and no one has come to reclaim her. We're surprised no one is missing Darcy; she is sure a nice girl and has a soft and clean coat. The volunteers describe Darcy as friendly, quiet in her kennel, and smart. She knows several commands including sit, lay down, and stay. Darcy is approximately 3 years old and weighs 75 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Darcy is waiting patiently in run 802; her ID # is 9025. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
