PLEASE SEE END OF THIS PROFILE FOR CONTACT INFO. "Mae" is a sweet and affectionate 6-yo female GSD who is desperately searching for her forever home. Mae was originally brought to the Bradshaw shelter on Feb 13, and is now on the euthanasia list due to shelter overcrowding. She must be adopted or rescued by Wed, 4-9-25. Mae loves going on leisurely strolls and walks nicely on leash. She enjoys watching squirrels scamper up trees, and while she may get excited about chasing them, it's all in good fun! Treats are her favorite reward, and she will eagerly sit for one, showing her eagerness to please. While Mae craves affection from her humans, she sometimes struggles with excitement, leading to jumping or nipping when she gets overwhelmed. This is something she is learning to manage with guidance and redirection. Mae has faced challenges in the past – she was briefly adopted but returned on March 28 due to an unfortunate altercation with another dog while both were trying to protect their humans. The stress of shelter life can be overwhelming, leading to moments of anxiety that are not reflective of her true character. Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis.
