My story

DOB November 15, 2022 (2.5 years old) Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Daisy is a beautiful little chatterbox. She has really cool eyes that are a golden or green colour depending on the lighting! She loves to play with springs, watch birds on TV, and will fetch hair ties if you throw them for her. Daisy will also play hide and seek with you. She loves to lay upside down, but don't be fooled - she does not like her belly rubbed! She is very much an "on her terms" cat - she will come to you when she wants attention, and she is okay to be picked up if she's in a calm, cuddly mood, but for the most part, she doesn't want you telling her what to do or where to go, and she will let you know this vocally! She is very vocal and will gently headbutt your legs and meow as you plate her meals. She is easy to get in a travel crate, but cries a lot and experiences anxiety in the car. I have found she is okay for 40 minute trips at the most. She does not like the sound of vacuums or humming and will hide if she hears either. She lives in an apartment with a small dog and is good with him. She likes to hide around corners and pop up to scare him. She always wants to play with him, and she can get a little rough. There have never been any injuries but if your small dog is nervous or not confident, or hasn't been around cats before, this could cause issues. She has not been around other cats. She is friendly to strangers who visit, but has not been around children ever. Daisy has always been indoors, but in the spring and summer she uses a catio on the balcony while supervised. It would be good if she had something like this in her new home. Daisy would do best in a home where someone works from home or is retired and has a lot of attention and playtime to spare. She will follow you from room to room just to be around you. Many friends who have been around her say they have never seen a cat with so much personality. You have to meet her to believe it! Daisy is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Sasha at avonniebgod@gmail.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy- CP, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
