My story

This Big Boy is one chonk of a kitty! This sweet, cheeky boy weighs in at 21 lbs!!! If you are looking for a big hunk of love, look no further! Big Boy Pooh Bear was a stray on the streets. He was rescued by a Kitten Rescue volunteer just outside her home. Sadly our volunteer passed away not even 1 year after rescuing Pooh Bear so now he’s looking for his furever home once again. Pooh Bear loves pets and affection and wants to be close to his humans. He will snuggle up beside you for a cat nap or just hang out with you on the sofa while you binge watch your favorite show. He’s a mellow LOVEBUG but still has a playful kitty side. Pooh Bear gets a long with most other kitties but may also like to be King of the Castle, getting all of your undivided attention. Pooh Bear will bring lots of love and comfort to his furever humans and be a great companion. Are you his furever human? Unfortunately, Big Boy Pooh Bear contracted FIV while on the streets. This has not impacted him at all, given proper care and attention an FIV positive cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact. It is not transmissible to humans.
