Valerie

My story

Valerie was rescued from West Valley Animal Shelter. She was on euthanasia list. She is a Staffordshire Terrier, about 2 yrs old, weighs about 55 lbs. She loves people, she is good with dogs and she is The Sweetest Dog. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Valerie even talks to you. If she wants her toy or something else she will talk to you and let you know what she wants ( per her foster in Oregon) Valerie is been through a lot so we are making sure she finds The Best forever home with a family who will Love her a lot. Valerie was adopted , her adopter traveled to CA to pick her up. After 8 months being with her new family her adopter surrendered her to the shelter in Oregon. She called animal control ( at no fault of Valerie) and they came and picked her up from her own house, took her to the shelter and put her in the kennel. We were getting photos, videos of Valerie that how she is a good girl, her adopter and everyone else love her. She was going on a pack walk but all of a sudden she ended up at the shelter. 2 dogs got into fight ( no reason was given to us), one dog ( per adopter doesn't know which dog but per texts her first dog is aggressive not Valerie) bit the person. The person put Valerie in the room and called animal control at her. We were able to find a foster for her in Oregon to pick her up from the shelter before being euthanized. She stayed with a foster for a few days they fell in love with her but their dog wasn't really getting along with her so she is back in CA with the rescue. We promised Valerie we will find her the best home. If you have a Staffordshire Terrier experience , own or owned one and interested in adopting her please contact the rescue.
