Honeynutt is available for adoption through his foster home! If you are interested in meeting him, please reach out to us and we will connect you with his foster home! From the Foster Home about Honeynutt: I am very shy and sweet. I try to engage with buddy dogs and people, but I am still learning how. If you offer me a treat and look away I will take it, but if you look at me I get shy. I accidentally got into the chicken coop and then stood and looked at them. I didn`t know what to do, they kept running around clucking. I like to pee and poo outside in the fenced backyard, which is also where I like to explore. I feel more relaxed in a house than in the shelter, though I miss the nice staff. I am still learning about stuff, but I am smart and learn a new thing every day.Honeynutt is an 8-month-old Rottweiler mix with the most soulful eyes and a heart full of potential. This sweet boy may be a little shut down right now, but underneath his quiet exterior is a loving pup just waiting for the right person to help him bloom. He’s been through more than a young dog should, and while he’s shy and reserved at first, Honeynutt is not broken—just in need of someone who understands that trust takes time and love requires patience. He’s looking for a calm, compassionate home where he can feel safe, decompress, and slowly learn that the world isn’t so scary after all. Once Honeynutt learns you`re his person, he`ll reward you with gentle affection, loyal companionship, and a bond that’s deeply special. He’s the kind of dog that will never forget the one who gave him a second chance. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Honeynutt *, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
