These beautiful sisters are being adopted together as a bonded pair. A trip to the Riverside County Animal shelter to get the fosters’ dog registered for license and rabies resulted in the unplanned rescue of a very young female cat along with her 4 kittens who were approximately 3 months old. They were hunkered down in a wire crate outside the door of the shelter not yet opened for the day. They were being turned in by their owner. The foster, being involved with a 501c3 rescue stood and watched with tears. She knew the probable outcome of this family. She knew there was no way she could walk away from this scenario. She told the owner she would take them right then and there. The owner, showing some surprise said OK, you can have them. The future of this family was saved. Literally! Unbeknownst to the foster, she not only saved this family sitting in front of her but 4 tiny yet to be born kittens. Yes, Mama was pregnant again! Please meet Ava,whose markings on her head do not connect and Cleo who has a connecting mark. These bonded sisters are 5 months of age and their markings speak of possibly TURKISH VANS. These girls are never far from each other! They are beautiful, friendly , playful and full of kitten activity. They get on well with other cats and small dogs did they are INDOOR ONLY! They are spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated and ready for their forever home! These two sweet girls can easily live for the next 20 years so a forever home with a long-term commitment to love and care for them is the adoption goal. You can meet Cleo and Ava in Riverside, CA.
