My story

Meet Fritter & Cobbler — A Sweet Duo Looking for a Forever Home Together! Fritter and Cobbler are an adorable 9-month-old sibling pair with matching black coats and totally opposite personalities — the purrfect balance of playful and shy! Fritter, the floofy brother, is the only one in the litter to inherit his mom’s medium-length fur and those irresistible ear tufts. He’s a confident, outgoing guy who lives for playtime (crinkle balls and toy mice, especially!). When he’s not zooming around chasing toys, you might find him perched on your shoulder like a parrot or curled up in your lap. Fritter loves people, but like many kittens, he can get a little too excited and might give you a playful nibble to show it! Cobbler, his sleek short-haired sister, is the quieter half of this duo. She’s come such a long way in learning to trust humans and is looking for a patient, gentle adopter who will let her bloom at her own pace. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll lean into pets and show off her playful side — especially when toys are involved! She absolutely adores other cats and is often found cuddling up with her brother or any feline friend she meets. Fritter and Cobbler came from a hoarding situation and, like many cats in similar circumstances, they’re what we affectionately call chronic snufflers — meaning they may always have a little nasal/eye discharge due to early illnesses and lack of vet care. They’ve had several kitty colds in the past, but now receive daily immune support supplements mixed into their wet food, which helps keep them feeling their best. They would thrive in a calm, adult-only home or one with older, respectful children. Fritter and Cobbler are deeply bonded and must be adopted together — they’re a package deal of love, fun, and feline friendship. Thanks to a generous donor, Cobbler’s adoption fee has been fully sponsored to help this sweet pair find their perfect match! Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption).
