She lives for long walks where she can take in the world at her own thoughtful pace—and then come home and melt into your lap like a 50-pound marshmallow. Her favorite place in the world? Wherever you are. Just the sound of your voice is enough to set her tail wagging with joy. But don’t worry, you won’t trip over her every time you get up to move. She likes her alone time too!While Nylee had a tough time in the shelter—she experienced shelter-related anxiety—she’s been flourishing in a calm, quiet foster home, where her sweet and silly personality has really started to shine. She’s shown that with a peaceful space and a little patience, she truly blossoms.She’s housebroken and is totally content to hang out solo while you’re at work. Just leave her with a rawhide bone or sturdy chew—she loves her toys but tends to turn the soft ones into fluff quick!Did we mention Nylee is treat-motivated and picks up new tricks fast? She walks well on a leash and knows her basic commands. But practice makes perfect! Her foster is helping her master these skills and more, including how to be around other dogs—while she’s curious about people, she’s still learning to feel comfortable and confident around her canine peers.Nylee is looking for someone who’ll love her as much as she’ll love them—which is to say, from the moment you meet, forever.If you’re ready to welcome a sweet, snuggly, treat-loving best friend into your life, come meet Nylee.
