My story

*** Cosmo is in our PetSmart Encinitas adoption center ***Cosmo #19622: brown tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 5/1/22Cats: possiblyDogs: unknownChildren: tweens+ BACKGROUND: Cosmo was adopted into a family home and all was well until the human baby reached the mobile age of being a toddler and things got too stressful for Cosmo. He is now looking for a more peaceful home where he can thrive! One of Cosmo’s eyes is cloudy thanks to a corneal infection he had as a kitten; though his vision is somewhat limited in that eye it does not cause him any problems.PERSONALITY: Cosmo is a big chunky boy who loves to have your attention and bask in your affection. He will sit on your lap and receive pets for as long as you are willing to give them! If you have a recliner in front of the TV where you can lean back with your feet up, that’s ideal. Sometimes if he’s not on your lap he’ll lie behind your head on top of the recliner. Basically, he wants to be near you. Cosmo also enjoys playing with a wand toy or a laser toy although sometimes he will play from a laying down position. He will do best with people that have plenty of time to give him attention.COMPATIBILITY: Cosmo is a happy boy as your only kitty love. He could possibly live with a mellow cat. We haven’t seen him around dogs. Cosmo does not want to live with younger children, though once they’ve reached double digits we think he’d be okay so long as the home is overall a peaceful one and he is treated with respect.Cosmo is a joy! This sweetheart will shine in a calm home where he can be adored and he’ll make sure you know you’re loved right back. Will you give him that chance?
