My story

Every shelter has that cat—clever, complicated, and totally unforgettable. That’s Loki. At 3 years old, Loki has earned his name. He’s a bit of a troublemaker with a sharp mind and a mischievous streak. He’s not the cuddly type (yet) and doesn’t hand out trust easily—but under that tough exterior is a cat just waiting for the right human to believe in him. Loki needs a quiet, patient home where he can settle at his own pace, with someone who understands that building trust takes time. He’s independent, curious, and will absolutely keep you on your toes—whether he’s knocking things off shelves or giving you that classic “don’t touch me” look. He’s not for everyone—but for the right person, Loki could become an incredibly rewarding companion. Are you up for the challenge?Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
