My story

A volunteer writes:Maggie is a young gal who appears cool and relaxed in her kennel. It must be quite a change from the crowded and busy life she lived with 20+ other kitties. She even came with her very own kitten(already adopted) she was caring for so lovingly. Maggie is only one year old and yes, she already was a mom...Maggie is a quiet cat who enjoys soft words, gentle petting and rewards me with a soft purr. I like the way she raises her "tush" to the ceiling when I caress her back. She gives me a hint that she likes to play as she follows attentively a wandering feather wand. I will try catnip toys and a laser beam at our next encounter.  Maggie is a petite kitty girl with one pearly eye, sweet, well mannered, social without being pushy and the promise of a gentle and loving pet for many years to come.
