My story

Meet Tish!Sweet Tish isn’t your normal 6 year old dog. You see, Tish didn’t really know what it meant to really be a dog until recently. She was rescued 2 years ago from a terrible hoarding situation where she was overbred and mistreated. She had no reason to trust people. Her story started out sad and you could just see it in her eyes that she had lost all hope.It may have taken 2 years, but her Saving Hope family never gave up on her, even when she seemed to have given up on herself! She still fears the general public but once given time to decompress and feel safe - she blossoms!Tish is looking for that special adopter who will love her for who she is and understands she will need time to open up to them. She is potty trained and crate trained. She is extremely dog friendly and pays no attention to cats. Her only requirement for her furever home: another dog in the home, a fenced in yard, patience and endless love.Tish now has a new lease on life. We will continue to believe in her and watch her grow while we wait for her perfect furever home to come through.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
