Meet LEO – a big-hearted pup ready for a fresh start! 🐾🦴At just 1 year old and already weighing 73 lbs., Leo is a young, enthusiastic dog bursting with potential. He’s playful, affectionate, and loves being around people—especially those 12 and older. With his goofy charm and snuggly nature, Leo is sure to win your heart. Leo is very much a puppy in need of structure and guidance. He’s still learning the ropes and will benefit greatly from a confident, experienced dog owner who can provide consistent training and set clear boundaries. He’s extremely toy motivated and eager to please, which makes training both fun and rewarding.While Leo has made great progress with our staff, he has shown some challenges that come with his youth and lack of early training. He can be reactive around other dogs, especially in close or high-energy situations, and has displayed barrier reactivity in the kennel. He also needs work on taking treats gently and may resource guard food, so understanding and patience are key. To help him succeed, Leo would do best as the only pet in the home, with no cats, and in an environment where his human can focus on helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.Leo is truly a diamond in the rough—sweet, smart, and ready to shine with the right person by his side.
