My story

Bertha is a 76-pound firecracker wrapped in love and wiggles. At around 6 years old, she’s got the soul of a puppy in a grown-up dog body—and she’s here to party (and snack). Volunteers at OKC Animal Welfare said she “looks like she’s never missed a meal,” and she expects to keep it that way—food is absolutely her love language.She’s not your average couch potato—Bertha is full of energy, sass, and zoomies. She loves racing around the yard, tossing around rope toys, and chasing balls with pure joy. She’s also got a soft side—when the zoomies wind down, she’ll cuddle up with a blanket and suck on it like a baby. It’s adorable.Bertha is a total people-lover, thrives around kids, and has been great with every dog she’s met. Cats, though? That’s a hard no. She’s a bath-time rockstar, loves attention, and will absolutely make you laugh every day.If you want a dog who brings the fun and the snuggles—Bertha’s ready to move in and take over your heart (and probably your couch).
