My story

Meet Kai – Your New Favorite Sidekick! Kai is a pup with a big heart, bright eyes, and a tail that never stops wagging. He’s the kind of pup who reminds you how fun life can be — from chasing a ball across the yard to curling up quietly once he’s had his playtime. This handsome little guy is super friendly with other dogs, great in the house, and doing awesome with his crate training. Once he’s settled (which only takes a few minutes), he’s calm, polite, and happy just to be near you. Kai is already learning leash manners, loves to be outside, and would thrive with someone who wants a mix of playful energy and relaxed companionship. Whether you’re looking for a jogging buddy, a loyal sidekick, or just a good boy to share your space, Kai’s your guy. He’s currently in a foster home and would love to stay out of the shelter and continue learning what it’s like to be part of a family. from foster parent 5/30/25 : Kai is an energetic, smart, curious, friendly dude!  He loves to go on walks, play tug of war, and more than anything- TREATS. He is in training to become the best version of himself 😀
