My story

Pearly is a 2-year-old Spaniel mix with the softest coat and a heart full of love, but she's a bit on the timid side when it comes to new places and faces. While she’s unsure of her surroundings at first, this curious girl loves exploring and sniffing her way through new environments, taking it all in at her own pace! Pearly is such a good girl at heart, and with a little patience, she’s sure to warm up in any quiet, calm environment, ready for a lifetime of treats, snuggles, and belly rubs. She has been doing well with dog-savvy cats in her foster home, often laying with them too! If you're looking for a gentle, curious companion with a shy heart and an adorable little soul, Pearly just might be your perfect match! _______________________________________ Today, I went full boss babe with a power pose in front of the Capitol—chest out, paws planted like I’m ready to sign some large treat bills into law. Next up, I hit you with the “ears at attention” look. That’s my “What’s that? A treat? A squirrel? A Supreme Court justice?” look. And finally… the ears-back moment. That’s when I let my soft side show. Maybe someone told me I’m beautiful (again). Whatever it was, I was feelin’ it. Xoxo, Pearly
