My story

Hi there, I’m Sasha. I came to the Atlanta Humane Society after my elderly owner passed away. It’s been a tough time for me, but I’m just trying to take it one day at a time. I was very, very loved by my owner, and I have so much love to give in return. I’m 60 lbs of pure tenderness, and I can’t help but lean my whole body into you when you pet my soft fur. I’m about 6 years old and pretty docile by nature. I’m basically your dream dog wrapped in a wagging tail and a big ol’ heart. I’m super friendly, totally housebroken (no accidents here!), and I get along with everyone—dogs, kids, strangers… you name it, I’ll probably greet them with a happy wiggle and a big smile. ??I love being around people and other pups, whether we’re playing in the yard or just hanging out around the house. I’m the kind of dude who’s always up for fun but also knows when it’s time to chill. And don’t worry—when it comes to house manners, I’ve got them down. I know where to potty, what not to chew, and how to be the perfect roommate.I walk easily on a leash, and car rides are no problem for me—I`m a pretty chill companion. I would be the easiest first dog ever! My first owner did all the right stuff with me so I`m ready to go! Plus, I`m the most sweet natured, laid back, softest, fluffiest, boy, and you will fall in love with my smile.I’m really hoping to find a place where I can relax and decompress. I’m a sweet and loving dog, and I promise I’ll make a wonderful companion once I feel settled. If you think you have the right space for me, I’d love to meet you!
