My story

Meet Hawthorn, a 2½-year-old, 50-pound Terrier mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin! This handsome boy came to us as a stray, but you’d never guess it—he’s house-trained, affectionate, and already knows how to be a very good boy. Hawthorn is as sweet as they come and loves being around people and other dogs. He especially enjoys the company of playful pups who can match his fun-loving energy! He’ll do best in a home where he can have plenty of opportunities to burn off that energy—whether it’s through playtime, walks, or fun adventures with his humans. While he still needs a little help with his manners—like learning not to jump when he's excited and practicing polite leash walking—he’s eager to learn and even more eager to please. Cuddles are his favorite thing in the world, and he’s fully convinced he’s a lap dog (yes, all 50 pounds of him!). If you’re looking for a loyal, snuggly, and spirited companion, Hawthorn might just be your perfect match. Adoption fee is:$400 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
