My story

Location: Rice, MN Meet Norman 🐾 🖤 Are you looking for a side kick, perhaps even a bestie, that wants to go everywhere and do everything with you? Then look no further. Norman is your man! 🐾 Norman came into rescue extremely malnourished and sad. You could definitely tell that he’s had a tough life. In fact, he didn’t even know how to snuggle at first. (You’d never guess that, because now that’s his favorite pastime!) He’s made such a lovely recovery! He’s gained a lot of weight and his coat is looking gorg! Due to the lack of nutrition and living outdoors for a long time, the condition of his fur and skin was quite awful. Despite his hard beginning, Norm is the silliest, goofy goober!! He absolutely loves humans of all ages! He gets along with other dogs and even cats! (However - due to the struggles he likely endured, we do provide him with a safe/ separate place to enjoy his food and treats — because he is still learning that he can trust other animals & he does feel the need to guard his things.) he would do fine in a home with other dogs, but would absolutely ✨ thrive ✨ being the only dog, so he can soak up all of the love and attention that he deserves! He is potty & kennel trained. He will sleep in a kennel overnight. He’s had to spend many nights cold and alone, so I know he would love to have a snuggler! Norman is such a fun loving dude, who truly deserves the chance to find his furever humans. Are you willing to give an underdog a chance? Please fill out an application and meet him! Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
