My story

Meet Venus – Your Little Star Explorer! Greetings, Earthlings! I’m Venus, a 1-year-old, 10-lb Terrier mix, and I’m here to orbit right into your heart. I may be small, but I burn bright with playfulness, love, and a serious passion for adventure—just like my namesake! I was found on the streets of Mexico, but now I’m ready for a furever home that’s out of this world.  I’m a cosmic bundle of energy who loves fetch, tug-of-war, walks, belly rubs, and cuddling. I don’t just walk—I trot like a shooting star, bringing joy and excitement wherever I go. I adjust well to the energy around me and would love a playmate to help burn off some of my zoomies. I get along well with dogs, cats, and kids, but when it comes to food, I can be a little protective. I’ve been working on my manners and getting better every day—feeding me separately from other pups is a good way to keep the peace. I’m still working on my potty training, but I do well on a leash.  My separation anxiety is mild to moderate—having company helps me feel secure. I would love a furry brother or sister who can keep me company and show me the ropes.  I’m also getting medicated baths right now to help my skin. Who doesn’t love a spa day?  Why adopt me? Because I’m the ultimate companion who will bring light and love into your life. I’m the pawfect mix of high-energy explorer and snuggly space traveler, making me a great adventure buddy by day and cuddle co-pilot by night.
